The Power of Daily Affirmations


Using daily affirmations is a great form of self-care practice! If you’re not familiar with affirmations they’re simply positive reminders and statements that you can use to encourage and motivate yourself. I have found the morning time to be the best time to use affirmations, but you can do them anytime. It’s a great way to set positive intentions for the day ahead. Priming your mind with positive, self-assuring, motivating, and confident phrases will set you up to have a great day! Simply start by setting aside 5-7 minutes in the morning to recite your affirmations aloud. It may feel weird at first but the more you practice the more natural it will become. Here are a few ideas below to help you get started.

Daily reminders of goals, aspirations, and personal ways to motivate yourself; The affirmations can be goals towards your health, dream job, exercise, or your spiritual journey. Create notecards that include your daily affirmations or positive intentions. This compact method of storing your affirmations makes them easily accessible, so they can fit in your purse, wallet or backpack. Use the daily affirmations to drown out the negative self-talk that we all fall victim to sometimes. This will empower you and you will gain better control over how you think, feel, and respond to life situations.

Over time you will see a significant shift in your mood, outlook, and overall feelings!
