BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF...

We are currently living in uncertain times. We are all still trying to understand and figure things out. There is no need to place additional pressure on yourself to be perfect...just be patient and everything will fall into place. Sometimes we need to take a deep breath and refocus on our surroundings or what we are facing at the moment. Just close your eyes and inhale deeply into your belly and then exhale through your nose. You will feel better once your body calms down and allow that physical relaxation to flow into your mind to soothe your impatient thoughts. Plus this will force you to slow down before you say or do anything rash.

Most situations that make you feel impatient are ones that can’t easily be changed. Instead of focusing on this feeling of powerlessness, concentrate on what you can do to make the situation better...like changing your attitude or perspective of the situation. These simple actions help bring you back into the present moment. Being patient will help you become calmer, happier, and more understanding, no matter what frustrating situation you find yourself in!
