Maintaining your fitness routine and motivation are very important!

Here are a few tips to help you refresh your wellness plan when your motivation is low.

Remember, it’s never too late to start over or find some new tips!

#1 Jumpstart your Metabolism: It’s helpful to eat every 2-3 hours and consume whole foods (like fruits, veggies, lean meats, and whole grains). Give your body the fuel it needs to perform well.

#2 Get an activity monitor: Challenge yourself to move around, get more active, and find a support system. The FitBit and Jawbone bands are a few of my favorite activity monitors.

#3 Plan your Meals: Plan your meals ahead of time, utilize food dairies, and apps to keep you on track. Some of the popular apps will remind you to record your meals, drink more water, and move around.

#4 Find a Fitness Community: Find online communities or fitness challenges to find encouragement, motivation, and tips. This is great for accountability and learning new things.

#5 Track your Progress: The fitness journal helps you visualize your progress and weight loss stats. This journal can also store your weekly goals, progress pictures, and motivational sayings.

#6 Make it FUN: Find creative ways to encourage and reward yourself for doing a good job. Here are a few reward ideas: New exercise equipment, gym shoes, kitchen tools, cookbook, pedicure, or chair massage. Get your family and friends involved – use this time for bonding.

These are just a few simple suggestions to help you continue on the track to meet your wellness goals. Take one step at a time and you will see results soon!
